Debris Flow Barriers are made of high strength steel wire with diameter of 3mm and tensile strength of not less than 1700MPa, which is coiled into a ring by several loops and interlaced with each other. The general specifications are 5 3M/4M/5M/6M/7M.It has a strong ability of geometrical deformation and elastoplastic deformation, which leads to the strong energy absorption capacity of the flexible network itself, thus reducing the requirement on the bearing capacity of other components of the system.It is applicable to the high mountains with buffer zone next to the construction facilities to intercept rockfall, flying stone, avalanche and debris flow outside the construction facilities and avoid the destruction of the construction facilities caused by disasters.The interception strength is strong enough to absorb and disperse the impact kinetic energy of rockfall within 250kj-2000kj. The design and application of energy dissipation ring further improve the system's impact resistance, especially for rockfall up to 5000KJ.
